Eyes of the Vagabond

vaga #2/3 This is how other Buddhas are born

PART III

Vaga #3

it is always everything related to monks and monasteries in Myanmar, always ........

Just outside of Mandalay there are the sculptors and stonemasons who are the ones who carry out the job of sculpting. They use only the best marble, without veins with the exception of the giants of more than 3 m high it is impossible to find such pure marble in that size. The perfect marble has a special name and it cannot be used in anything else such as floors, fountains, etc ... ... there are also Buddhas made from black marble, but that is very unusual to see.

The working conditions are very harsh, the dust from the marble is inhaled and also goes into the eyes, I never saw protective masks, and I saw many children working and all under the overwhelming sun.

I took this photo with a screenshot to prove how hot it was when I was there, it's terrible, there was no intention of posting it, but saying that it was 40 degrees is different to seeing it.
